1 Right 10 Lives

There once was a time, when wildlife lay,

Beautifully in peace, and through the bay,

Water was free of oil and decay.

Wouldn’t it be great, if on this day,

We could make this happen without delay?

Well, guess what?

We CAN make it happen, if we try!

We can stop the tears from anyone’s cry.

There once was a time, in the past,

When the truce between earth and human was sure to last.

We CAN make that happen, if we start now!

Respect the earth. You ask, “How?”

Well, we can always ban

Plastic bottles and the occasional can.

We can also limit the use

Of gasoline and fossil fuels.

There once was a time, and it can happen again.

We can save the earth- we really can!
