No matter how tall a tree grows
The leaves that fall
From its highest branches
Will always all
Come to rest by its roots.
No matter how deep you dig
To plant a seed
If you care for it,
Provide for its needs,
You’ll always notice fresh, green, shoots.
No matter how cold the winter
The bare bark
Of leafless trees
No matter how stark
Will always get on the right track
If you plant a tree
Water it every day
It’s the same with people
The world will always find a way
Because it has always found a way
To give back
