From Lyra: Animal Rights - She heard stories about animals being killed for their furs, and she thinks that it's wrong. She tries to help animals survive.
From Claire: Racism- She thinks that Chinese people being called "smart" just because of their race isn't fair.
From Anonymous: Gender Inequality- She joined a soccer team in her school containing her and three boys, and none of them wanted to be on her team because she was a girl.
From Anonymous: Climate Change - She heard that in Antarctica the Polar bears are in danger because of global warming. The ice is melting and the sea is rising. Polar bears are one of her favorite animals and she hopes to help them someday.
From Yuia: Bullying- Back then, she ate Japanese food. People bullied her because they thought her food looked "raw" and "fishy". She knew it was a pun, but she didn't take it as a pun. She took it as what it was- racism and bullying. She ended up leaving the school and going to a private Japanese school.
From Susan: Other- She is 24 years old and is a cancer survivor. Before that, she was an animal rights specialist.
From Zack: Animal Rights- His mom used to whip their dog with a belt, so one day he snuck his dog out and the dog ran away. He hopes that he will find him.
From Anonymous: Other- She has OCD and it causes her to pick at screen protector bubbles. She said that learning about other people's lives was really interesting.
From Anonymous: Climate Change- Was inspired by the story of the Korean man cleaning a whole lake and wants us to add something about it.
From Angel: Gender Inequality- In some Chinese traditions, the youngest sibling is a girl. Angel is a boy. His parents tried to dress him up as a girl because, in some Chinese traditions, the man gives the woman's family money. This is practically abuse and his parents even said that they wanted him to be transgender. He thinks that people should stop doing this to their children.
